is a church sponsored ministry for kids ages 3-9. Adventurer Club is where children get to know Jesus through activities that develop character and social skills and learn physical discipline. Activities included in the Adventurer Club are craft study, nature exploration, Bible study, witnessing projects, field trips, and many other interesting adventures.

Children’s Ministries is responsible for the spiritual development of children under the age of 11. With the assistance of a dedicated staff, we seek to impart the knowledge of God and help children experience God’s love. These goals are accomplished through skillfully planned programs that include Sabbath School lesson study, Children’s Church, mission emphasis & community outreach.

The Communication and Media Ministries goal is to win souls for Christ through new and alternative mediums. Serving as liaison between the church and others, we use the latest audio and visual technology to reach out not only to our members and community, but also to those around the world. Through the technology of the Media Ministries, they play an integral part to all church services providing sound, video and live access for others to view our church services through our website. The KBT Photography team uses photography as a tool to enhance the multi-media ministries of the church. Photos offer others a glimpse into the church’s character telling the story of how we serve God by capturing church activities and individuals. Community Services is the humanitarian agency of the church. It offers charitable relief on an individual and community level. The aim is to build collaborative partnerships with the community and church members and to equip and develop leaders to serve and transform our communities.

The greatest role of a deacon role is one of service. Male and female deacons (also known as Deaconess) assistance at church services and meetings, visit members, the sick, the poor and the unfortunate. Deacons play a key role in Baptism and Communion services and assists the church helping to maintain order and care of church.

Ensures the accessibility of ministry and fellowship through visitation, resource distribution and evangelism to our differently-abled members and visitors. All people (regardless of circumstance or status) should have access to the gospel of Jesus Christ ensuring that no one is shut out, or left out.

Family Ministries is a key component of our church, because we recognize that helping people and nurturing families strengthens the church body. The primary objective of the Family Life Ministries Department is to affirm the importance of the family as an institution established by God where values are learned and well-rounded persons in service to God are nurtured. Family Ministries seeks to promote the biblical ideal of family while meeting the needs of today’s modern home. Our Family Ministries department utilizes various programs and seminars to meet the needs of premarital couples, married couples, single parents, blended families and singles. We provide support and the healing ministries of Christ to those who have been injured and hurt by abuse, family dysfunction, and broken relationships. We also have a vibrant Women’s Ministries, Men’s Ministries and Singles Ministries department which cater to special needs of the individuals in context.

The purpose of Health Ministries is to promote the physical, mental and spiritual health of our congregation and community, transforming their lives in preparation for the heavenly kingdom. As followers of Jesus, our goal is to receive results and to gain a better way of healthy living. The Health Ministries team conducts programs such as, health and cooking classes, stress-control, weight management programs, an annual health expo and other related activities open to both members and the community at large.

The Men’s Ministry is designed to disciple and empower men to live for Christ in their marriages, families, work, church and personal lives. Dedicated to helping men be the godly men God calls them to be, this ministry endeavors to actively pursue men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning souls for the kingdom.

The Music Ministry seeks to utilize the power of worship through music. We bring an offering of praise, fight discouragement, and teach truth through a variety of music. The Music Ministry aims to strengthen worshipers and to nurture the membership and all who visit in preparation for Christ’s soon return. Each service, our choirs and other music ensembles, prepare the hearts of the congregation to receive a word from the Lord. The music ministry is led by Timothy Anderson, Head Minister of Music.

Some of the choirs and music ensembles include:

KBT Jubilees for children ages 3 to 12. The KBT Jubilees sing under the direction of Vanessa White and is assisted by Lyssandre Emmanuel and Jeanine Lopardo. Rehearsals are generally on Sabbath afternoon after lunch.

Kingsboro Temple’s Royal Priesthood is comprised of spirit-filled young people excited about serving God through the ministry of song. The ages for this ensemble are 13 – 18. Royal Priesthood choir is directed by Sandra Pottinger-Mitchell and is assisted by Tabitha Bellavoix. Rehearsals are generally on Friday evenings.

Exaltation Ministries is composed of young adults starting at age 19 with no upper age limit. This choir sings a variety of music, but especially highlights contemporary and traditional gospel genres. Rhoda Jules serves as the director for Exaltation Ministries and is assisted by Lounise Williams. Rehearsals are generally on Sabbath afternoon after lunch.

Kingsboro Temple’s Men’s Chorale provides an avenue for men to fellowship in music ministry as well as work closely with the KBT Men’s Ministry. All men with musical and spiritual and aptitude are welcome.

KBT Mass Choir provides an avenue for the different choirs to participate collectively generally on special events such as Music Day or for special concerts. The KBT Mass Choir includes all choirs of the church.

Praise & Worship Teams – Kingsboro Temple’s Music Ministry has five Praise & Worship teams that are spirit-filled vessels that lead the congregation into the presence of the Lord each Sabbath morning, Sabbath afternoon for AY, Wednesday evening at Prayer Meeting and special services that takes place at church.

Temple Praise – Temple Praise serves as KBT’s praise team choir. Kingboro Temple is blessed to have 5 praise team groups and they all join together at times and form a mass praise team choir called Temple Praise.

KBT Musicians – KBT’s musicians are spirit-filled, anointed and skillful providing a rich atmosphere of praise & worship for the Kingsboro Temple family. The roster of musicians includes: Glen Mosley, Tarence Farrell, Nelsen Jules, Saed Phillip, Claudine Faison, Kevin Allen, Mike Jean-Baptiste and Eugene Rogers. KBT is also blessed to have many talented guest musicians play at our services on occasion

Pathfinder Club is a program for youth and young adults. It is an effective means of evangelism that engages the spirit of adventure and exploration. Activities included in the Pathfinder Club are camporees, fairs, craft study, nature exploration, Bible study, witnessing projects, field trips, and many other interesting adventures.

The primary goal of the Personal Ministries Department is evangelism. Its goal is to provide resources through seminars, workshops and special services that train church members working closely with departments to assist in their evangelistic outreach. Take The Spiritual Gifts Test

The Adventist church is committed to the principle meaning of religious freedom: The differences in religions throughout the world should be respected. What we choose to believe and how we choose to worship should be according to the dictates of our conscience. Religious Liberty seeks to support, protect and defend religious freedom and human rights for all people everywhere.

Sabbath School aims to nurture the spiritual growth in members and prospective members to make disciples for Christ. Every one, whether a member of the church or not, is welcome to be a member of a Sabbath School class. Sabbath School has four purposes: study of the Scripture, fellowship, community outreach, and world global mission emphasis. Classes meet weekly at 9:15am just prior to the 11:00am worship service. Sabbath School has 2 divisions: Lower Division: Ages 0-13, Upper Division: Teens – Adults. The annual Sabbath School picnic also provides an opportunity for interactive fellowship

KBT’s Singles’ Ministry is a place for those that have never been married, are divorced or became single again due to the loss of a spouse. Its goal is to reach and empower single adults to live Christ-centered lives. Fostering fellowship and education through various activities and programs, KBT’s Singles’ Ministry department seeks to create an environment for spiritual growth and bonding where new friendships can be made.

Spartan Sundays is the exercise and fitness club of KBT. Spartan Sundays is a Christian recreational group that encourages healthy, active lifestyles and activities outside of the church walls. This FREE 2 hour group workout is created to get you in shape mentally and physically. It meets every Sunday from 9:30 am- 11:30 am. Spartans also participate in various activities from Breast Cancer walks and 5K runs to the annual wild and crazy Spartan Races. Our mission is to apply our spiritual strengths to tackle our physical challenges not just on Sundays but on a daily basis.

We are God’s stewards, entrusted by Him with time and opportunities, abilities and possessions, and the blessings of the earth and its resources. We are responsible to Him for their proper use. We acknowledge God’s ownership by faithful service to Him and our fellowmen and by returning tithes and giving offerings for the proclamation of His gospel and the support and growth of His church. Stewardship is a privilege given to us by God for nurture in love and the victory over selfishness and covetousness. The steward rejoices in the blessings that come to others as a result of his/her faithfulness.

We are women of purpose, who develop and enhance sisters of faith. We strive to create a nurturing atmosphere through promoting an intimate relationship with Christ.

As a ministry, we pledge to support and love each other, for we are our Sister’s keeper. It is our aim to come together as a sisterhood to face our common issues whilst we study God’s Word. Our desire is to become strong in the body of Christ through prayer and fellowship. We will continue to spread the gospel of Jesus who lives within us.

he key focus of the AYS Ministry (Adventist Youth Society) is the salvation of our youth through Jesus Christ. Our goal is to lead the youth to understand their individual worth while assisting in the discovery and development of their spiritual gifts and abilities. We seek to equip and empower the youth for a life of service to God through the church and the community. We are motivated to integrate our youth into all aspects of church life and leadership so they may be full participants in the programs of the church. We encourage the youth to participate and lead out in youth meetings, church-wide youth days, recreational outings, community outreach projects, musical programs, and other events.
